What type of aircraft does Frontier Airlines use?

Frontier currently operates a fleet of 15 Airbus A320s, 41 Airbus A319s and four Airbus A318s. Republic Airlines, operating for Frontier, operates a fleet of 17 Embraer E190s. Additionally, our regional partners operate four Embraer E145s, three Embraer E135s and four Q400s as Frontier Express.
Do you need a passport to travel with Frontier Airlines?
All passengers, including children and newborns, must have a passport to leave, enter or re-enter the United States. Be sure to bring all required documents for your outbound and inbound flights.
Is a backpack considered hand luggage at the border?
Hand luggage: Your hand luggage must be able to fit under the seat or in the overhead compartment. It cannot be larger than 24″H, 16″W, 10″D (including handles, wheels, and straps) and no heavier than 35 pounds. These are usually large backpacks, duffel bags and small suitcases/rollers!

Do you get free baggage with Frontier Airlines?
If you are departing on a Frontier flight and connecting on another airline’s international flight, Frontier will respect the other airlines’ free baggage allowances and collect any applicable charges for checked baggage and carry-on baggage, as defined by the other airline.
Do you have to go through customs with Frontier Airlines?
If you have connecting Frontier flights when you arrive in the United States, you will first need to clear customs, collect your baggage, and then check your baggage back through to the final destination. Most customs areas have a login registration area available when you’ve completed your inspection, so it’s easier than it looks!
When does the border move to international terminal 1?
Frontier Ticket Counters in Terminal 1 and will move to International Terminal A and our new counters will also be in International Terminal A. The effective date of the move is July 23, 2019. CVG Airport is subject to major road improvements near the terminal.
When to check in for Frontier Airlines flights?
Online check-in for all our flights is available within 45 minutes to 24 hours of your departure time. You and your baggage must be checked in for international flights at least one hour before departure. We strongly recommend that you come to the airport 2-3 hours earlier during busier travel periods, especially during holidays.
