Top 6 Villas in Barbados

From stunning west coast beaches with soft golden sands and turquoise waters to incredible restaurants, an authentic Rastafari vibe and interesting colonial history, Barbados is truly one of the most beautiful and culturally interesting destinations in the Caribbean .

As a frequent visitor to the Caribbean and having the pleasure of visiting all the islands in the region several times, Barbados remains my personal favourite.

There is so much to do and enjoy.

Barbados does have some of the best fine-dining waterfront restaurants on the planet, shopping especially in Holetown, and a rich sporting culture including golf, polo, cricket and plenty of water sports. Then there’s the island’s amazing colonial history, which can be seen on the island with its tropical forests, verdant gardens, and pristine beauty of the island’s northern and eastern coasts.

Barbados is an island popular with the rich and famous, many of whom own and rent in Barbados. Simon Cowell, Rihanna, Maria Carey and Cara Delevingne are just a few of the A-listers who regularly appear on the island. The best part is that you can rent or stay in one of the houses they own or rent.

I have visited all the best villas and there is no better way to experience the island than by staying in one of the most exquisite luxury villas on the island. These stunning Barbados villas are available with trusted villa company Exceptional Villas.

Let’s explore the TOP 6 villas

  1. THE DREAM, as the name suggests, is the perfect villa. This is an exquisite 5 bedroom beach house located in the garden area on the west coast of Barbados. The entire west coast of Barbados is unique, but this area is the most unique. This is where you can find all the luxury and super exclusive properties.

The Dream is a two-storey villa with modern design and the most breathtaking views imaginable. It also has one of the most beautiful pools I’ve come across, with a cool bar at one end. There are two main living areas that are perfect if some in the group want to relax in a quiet place and some want to party in the evening.

All the bedrooms are gorgeous, but the master bedroom is especially stunning, there is no better way to wake up than in a dream, with incredible views and the sound of the sea lapping the coast just metres away.

The Dream features butlers, world-class chefs and butlers. There’s even a cinema and a grand piano.

My Favorite Dream Features

Stunning in every aspect, but most importantly, we love the way the entire downstairs living area opens up completely and flows beautifully into the pool and garden.

  1. GREENSLEEVES is one of the most iconic waterfront mansions in Barbados, if not the entire Caribbean. Simply heavenly 9 bedroom property. The villa occupies the entire headland and thus has access to two of the best beaches on the island. To the north is Gibbs Beach leading to Mullins Beach and to the south is Reed Bay.

The entire building is beautiful and in pristine condition, set in over 11 acres of the most beautiful private gardens. There is a gorgeous free form swimming pool and the entire estate is situated on a slightly elevated site which gives Greensleeves the advantage of having the ultimate privacy and the best views imaginable. The garden is filled with colourful and fragrant tropical flowers, chirping hummingbirds and whistling tree frogs.

Every corner of this hotel is full of beauty. But the master suite, probably only available until all 9 bedrooms are rented out, is the most beautiful master bedroom I’ve ever seen in the Caribbean. Greensleeves is the ultimate oasis paradise.

My Favorite Greensleeves Features

It has 11 acres of gardens and an extremely private location, yet on two of the best beaches on the island.

  1. BONITA is one of the newest beachfront villas in Barbados, and one of the most luxurious. There are 6 bedrooms, 4 in the main house and 2 in the guest room.

Bonita is located on the sought after west coast of Barbados, on a beautiful beach with soft and golden sands and turquoise and calm waters.

Here you can enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets on the island. Bonita’s decor can best be described as modern and stylish, beautifully designed so that almost every room in the villa has incredible views. The overall experience is enhanced with windows that slide back throughout the house.

When you stay at Bonita, you will be truly pampered by the entire team of staff. There is a butler, an acclaimed chef and several butlers to ensure your every whim is taken care of.

Bonita comes with a stunning swimming pool, and my personal favorite, a luxurious cinema room.

Bonita My Favorite Feature

I love the design of the villa, it takes full advantage of the incredible views.

  1. GODINGS HOUSE is the newest addition to Barbados’ luxury villa community. It is located further north, closer to Speightstown, next to the popular St Peter’s Bay resort.

Godings House is super modern, with clean lines and beautiful contemporary art work. Godings House has over 13,500 sq ft of living space spread across 5 bedrooms, living room, professional kitchen, office, cinema and gym.

The decor is chic and sophisticated, and has the advantage of being in a quieter part of the island, so the beach here is almost always deserted and feels like your own private beach.

Not only is the house exquisite, but when you stay at Godings House, you’ll be totally pampered.

They have a full team to look after you during your stay, including butlers, chefs, housekeepers and housekeepers.

Godings House is the perfect villa choice for private parties, small weddings or multi-generational family gatherings.

My Favorite Godings House Features

I love the fact that all the bedrooms are on the waterfront, they all have the same incredible views.

  1. ST HELENA is another personal favourite Barbados villa. It is more traditional and colonial in style than the newer villas, but it has a charm and warmth that is hard to beat.

St Helena has a great waterfront setting and can accommodate up to 16 people. There are 9 bedrooms in total, split between the main house and the super deluxe room.

The garden is very mature and full of fragrant flowers and tropical shrubs. There is a stunning swimming pool between the two houses and the beach is accessible via a nice trail just 10m from the main house.

Villa St Helena is the perfect villa for a special occasion, and you want your guests to feel at home, enjoying the ultimate in relaxation and luxury.

My Favorite St. Helena Features

I like the atmosphere in the house. The moment you enter, you will feel at ease, like coming home!

  1. CRYSTAL SPRINGS comes last, but definitely not least. Crystal Springs sits on 1.7 acres with ocean and beach frontage.

The villa has a gorgeous and almost private bay where you can swim and enjoy the crystal clear turquoise waters. With 10 bedrooms, Crystal Springs is one of the largest villas on the island and can comfortably sleep up to 20 people.

The swimming pool deserves a special mention as it will blow your mind. Its styles are endless and decorated with gorgeous blue pizzaza mosaics exclusively imported from Italy.

Crystal Springs also has one of the best teams in Barbados to look after you during your stay. There are two housekeepers, two chefs and several housekeepers to ensure you are completely pampered.

My Favorite Crystal Springs Features

The pool is my favorite on the island. Luxurious and comfortable sunbeds and exquisite sea views are stunning.
